William "Billy" K. Wells wrote for stage, screen and radio and was remembered as a script writer on twelve "George White's Scandals" productions. Wells worked on musical comedies for the Broadway stage from 1919 to 1943, returning in 1953 with "John Murray Anderson's Almanac".
