Actor William Grannel was born on March 30, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. He's perhaps best known as Cheri Caffaro's likable and easygoing private investigator superior Jason Varone in the notoriously scuzzy early 70's "Ginger" exploitation movies. Grannel had a small role as a meek henpecked husband in the alarmingly awful micro-budget horror atrocity "Carnival of Blood." William also pops up in the soft-core features "The Love Object" and "Women Women Women Moira." He acted in the Off-Broadway plays "Pets" and "Good Woman of Setzuan. Read more...
