Susan studied acting at the Webber Douglas School of Dramatic Art and worked as a singer and dancer before going into rep at Edinburgh, Newcastle, Bristol Old Vic and the Mermaid Theatre in London. Susan appeared in the film, Having a Wild Weekend (1965), and acted on television in such programmes as Bruno (1967), Nearest and Dearest (1968) and Going for a Song (1965), before finding fame as "Miss Diane Parker" in Crossroads (1964), a role she played from 1965 until 1987. During her career, she has acted in stage productions of "Dick whittington" and "Cinderella". Read more... collecting Victorian dolls, interior design and travelling.
