Steve Sax was an all out, hell-bent for leather baseball player. Born in Sacramento, California, Sax signed a professional contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1978 at the age of 18. Advancing through the minor leagues, he made it to the big club in 1981 after being named the Pacific Coast Player of the Year. Quickly becoming known as "Mr. Hustle", Steve Sax played with the Dodgers for eight memorable years, helping them to four Western Division titles and two World Series Championships.
