Born in Anaheim, CA. Grew up in Orange county, with split custody between her parents. Her mother, Bonnie Levinson and stepfather Danny Hudson produced plays at her elementary school to spend more time with her. Sonya was nine when she had her first lead role in a play "The Magic Bookshelf." She soon followed the lead in traveling theatre production "War on the Home Front" with her mother, Bonnie Levinson.
