Sherry Ann Mathis began her career on the local stage in Memphis, Tennessee. She went to New York in 1971 and soon made her debut on the Broadway stage in a production of Harold Prince's "A Little Night Music". She subsequently appeared as "Liza Sentell" on the Search for Tomorrow (1951) soap opera for seven years. She appeared with Burt Reynolds in the 1975 film W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings (1975) and made several television appearances before retiring to Memphis because of poor health. Read more...
