Saskia Diesing (1972) graduated as a filmmaker from the Hogeschool voor de kunsten Utrecht in 1996. After her graduation she worked seven years at the Dutch broadcast VPRO. At the VPRO she made programs and was editor in chief for Waskracht!, VPROVanavond, Ingodsnaam and Het Geluk van Nederland. In 1999 Saskia directed the feature film DU a double language roadmovie trough East-Groningen, the One Night Stand Nieuwe Schoenen and Taxi 656. She also directed a NTR Kort! movie, De laatste dag, based on a story of Toon Tellegen. At the moment she focusses on both directing and writing screenplays. Read more... Verwoerd, Saskia wrote the screenplay of Fit to Fly which was nominated for the Visser Neerlandia-award and recently she wrote the screenplay P for NTR Kort!, directed by Aaron Rookus. Saskia is also a teacher 'directing and screenplay' for the faculty Art Media and Technology at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht.
