Sandy S. Solowitz was born in Brooklyn New York, but moved with his family to Los Angeles California when he was 2 yrs old. He claims that his family had to move because he did not belong to a gang. Having spent most of his life in Hollywood, and being a natural story teller, it was inevitable that Sandy become involved in "The Business". Sandy was brought into the craft of editing by Bud Smith, who was well known for cutting such classics as "Flash Dance", Karate Kid", and "The Exoricist".
