She was also featured on the web series from the producers of Moesha and the Proud Family entitled "The Lyfe of Kevyn." In the summer of 2009, Sabi joined the Los Angeles based urban/pop group The Bangz, featuring another performer named Ella Ann, that got signed to the indie recording label VNR, Asylum Records and Warner Bros. Records. Not much after, Ella was seriously injured and unable to continue, leaving Sabi to go on alone. However, executives at Warner Bros. loved Sabi's talent and energy and wanted to continue the label's relationship with her as a solo artist. She has been attracting buzz from her collaborations on Britney Spears' song "(Drop Dead) Beautiful" from her #1 album Femme Fatale, Cobra Starship's song "You Make Me Feel..." from their latest album, Night Shades, and the New Boyz' song "Tough Kids" from the album Too Cool to Care. Meanwhile, she's in the studio with Benny Blanco, Lukasz Gottwald and The Cataracs recording her own album.
