Robert Bruce Herrick II was born on January 3rd, 1985, in Wyandotte, Michigan. His father, Bob, is a job Security Representative for Ford Motor Company, and an electrician by trade. His mother, Debbie, is a homemaker. Rob has two brothers Steve and Scott. Steve is one year younger than Rob and is a Biomedical Engineer. Scott is two years younger than Rob and is a Mechanical Engineer. At age 3 Rob Herrick moved from Wyandotte, MI to Armada, MI in 1988 because his father took a new job in Romeo, MI. Herrick, attended Pre-School through first grade in the Armada school system. Read more... In 1992, his family decided to make a move to the neighboring town of Richmond, MI. They moved to a beautiful home on ten acres. Herrick, attended second grade through his graduation from Richmond High School in 2003. Herrick graduated with honors. He was a varsity letter winner in Football, Basketball, and Track. After graduation, he attended Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI. Herrick, graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration in May 2007. He majored in Business Management, and Minored in Sports Management. Throughout his bachelor's degree, he worked for company called University Events that dealt with the lighting, sound, and set up of large events on campus and other venues throughout the state. Herrick, had always loved the entertainment industry, but took a true love to it through this job. Soon after graduation, Herrick started as a District Sales Manager for Anheuser Busch in November 2007. He is also the President of an entertainment company called "Black Polarbare Entertainment." In July of 2009, he stumbled upon an opportunity that would change his life forever while visiting one of his many accounts. While leaving an account, the door slammed behind him making a loud noise. Immediately, people on the outside of the building told him to be quite because a movie was being filmed upstairs. He asked a young woman sitting in a chair if she was one of the actresses, and told him she was one of the producers. Herrick jokingly told her that if they needed anyone else for the movie to let him know. Surprisingly enough she said she had something right up his alley; a bartender role. He accepted the role for the movie called "Meltdown" (2009). After he was done with the movie, it seemed like he was being offered roles for other various movies and modeling jobs. His second movie, was called "Red Dawn" (2010) which was a 1984 remake. Herrick played a police officer in a movie called "Mad About a Sunday" (2010), and had his first lead role in "Longer Than Forever" (2010) as Jack Cooper. A few of his most recent movies have been "Real Steel" (2011), and "Scream 4" (2011), Harold and Kumar 3 (2011), Transformers 3 (2011), This Must Be The Place (2011), and the Reasonable Bunch (2011). He has also appeared on HBO's Hung Season 2 Episode 2 (Just The Tip) (2010), and various appearances on ABC's (Detroit 1-8-7) (2010). Herrick's agency is Phillips Donovan LLC. Herrick is working on new film productions and is working diligently promoting Hip Hop artist JFields through Black Polarbare Entertainment.
