Michael Koltes was born in Hamburg, Germany but grew up in Los Angeles, California. He hit the stage for the first time in the Philippines from the early age of two and since performed all over Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. At age 16, he left home and went to Nigeria as a volunteer with the Pro Health Foundation. Read more... at the 'Tabernacle Theatre' in Notting Hill where he was first spotted for a commercial. In 2003 he started a punk rock band called 'Hypo Psycho' and toured the UK extensively, experiencing chart success with debut single 'Public Enemy Number One', 'Stalker Girl' and album 'Somebody Someday' which was released in the UK, Holland and the US, being play listed on 'MTV' The Box' and 'Kerrang!. He has since made a return to acting and appeared in Ridley Scott Robin Hood (2010),TV movie Adrift: 47 Days with Sharks (2012) as US war hero Louis Zamperini, 'Action Movie Hollywood' as the Punk Hitman with Dame Judi Dench Allies(2014), And Then I Was French (2015). He has since starred as the lead Noah Benson in the hit Asian TV series The Boston Kitchen Musical (2014).
