Biography

Mario Guerra was born in Rome, Italy, in 1922, and dead in 1991. He was a journalist and a screen-player. He began working in "Marc'Aurelio" a satiric italian magazine where Maccari, Steno, Scola, Castellano, Pipolo, Vighi, Magni also wrote. In 1956 he went in "Momento-sera", a roman newspaper, that he directed from 1971 since 1975. From 1975 to 1977 he directed "Il Mezzogiorno d'Abruzzo", another italian newspaper. Then he retired and collaborated as an outsider with "Il Giornale del Mezzogiorno". During his life, he wrote more than 50 movies, mainly "Italian Comedies", often with Vittorio Vighi. Read more...
