Signed in film at age 16, thanks to winning the contest Maja of Madrid (1956) and Hispamex Films selected her to be the star of the film "Robert the Devil" and thus turned into one of the most characteristic naive Spanish cinema stars of the late 50s, with the stage name Mari Conchi Mahor. She began to undergo professional decline around 1965, due to her physical changes to fit the naive young woman and changes in Spanish movie interests. Thereafter, she devoted almost exclusively to the theater, and to singing in clubs. She retired about 1981. Read more...
