She was raised in Sacramento, California, the daughter of Liz Anderson, a country music songwriter, and Casey Anderson, a car salesman. Before Lynn began singing professionally, she was a secretary. An accomplished equestrian, she retired in the 1980s and returned to another career of raising horses and participating in equestrian competitions. Her biggest hit was "Rose Garden", written by Joe South in 1970, for which she won the Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. Read more...
