Leo Scherman is a Canadian filmmaker who graduated in 1993 from McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a degree in Cultural Studies. He trained as an assistant director under, among others, Paul Schrader and David Cronenberg. At the age of 28 he wrote, directed and produced his first feature film White Knuckles. He co-wrote the feature horror Living Death starring Kristy Swanson and directed Lou Diamond Phillips in the suspense thriller Never Forget, which sold worldwide. Scherman has also worked extensively in Canadian and US television where he created, produced, wrote and performed on the multiple Gemini award winning series Cock'd Gunns. Read more...
