Slim and sultry brunette singer/songwriter Keren Jane Woodward was born on April 2, 1961 in Bristol, England. Woodward first met fellow musician Sarah Dallin at age five while attending St. George's School for Girls. A classically trained musician, Keren briefly worked for the BBC prior to forming the all-girl pop group Bananarama with Woodward and Siobhan Fahey in 1979.
