Pretty, petite (5' 2"), and athletic blonde dancer and gymnast Kahea Olani Bright was born on November 30, 1959 in Mill Valley, California. Kahea was a national competitor in gymnastics for five years prior to becoming one of the original eight regular dancers on the immensely popular music variety TV series "Solid Gold." Best known for her exceptionally fluid and impressive physical agility, Bright has the distinction of being one of the shortest and youngest dancers on the show.
