Josie DiVincenzo was born and raised on the north side of Buffalo, NY, and was on the stage by the early age of 4. Pursuing acting all through grammar and high school, she attended SUNY Fredonia for her BA in Theater, and the University of Southern California for her MFA in Drama. Read more... to win an unprecedented 34 awards from film festivals around the nation, including recently, the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival in 2011. Recently, she returned to her hometown of Buffalo to appear in its summer's Shakespeare in Delaware Park (2nd largest free Shakespeare festival in the country) as Lady Macbeth, and to work at the Kavinoky Theatre in Tom Stoppard's "Rock 'n' Roll", "Noises Off", "You Say Tomato, I say Shut UP" in Rochester's DCT, and most recently appeared in the highly praised and acclaimed one-woman show "Dai (Enough!)" at the Jewish Repertory Theatre in Buffalo, NY for which she won the Artie Award (Artvoice Excellence in Theatre) for Outstanding Actress in a play, and The Best of WNY (Buffalo Spree Magazine)for Best Actress.
