Biography

José de Vega started his career in his native Spain and made his stage debut in 1969 with Lope de Vega's "La estrella de Sevilla", starring Marisa Paredes, at the prestigious Spain's National Theatre in Madrid, followed by Unamuno's version of "Medea", starring Nati Mistral. After small parts in films such as "Cuadrilatero", directed by Eloy de la Iglesia, Eugenio Martin's "Tengamos la guerra en paz" and Jaime de Arminan's "Carola de dia, Carola de noche", he left acting... and it took him more than three decades to come back, this time in Los Angeles where he has lived since 1985.
