Biography
Jesse Vint has done major parts in over a hundred films and television shows. Bored with his business classes at Oklahoma University he arrived in NYC by Greyhound bus, and after studying acting for over a year he auditioned at the famed Actor's Studio with his brother Alan. According to Lee Strasberg's book "The Actor's Studio" only one in a thousand were being accepted at the time. Both Alan and Jesse were accepted as observers. Both studied there for years, and then both starred in a film that broke box office records across America in 1974 called Macon County Line. He has worked with such Academy Award winners and nominees as Dustin Hoffman, Jack Nicholson, Charlton Heston, James Garner, Bruce Dern, and many others. He attends the Oscars and the Emmy's often. Jesse has had four screenplays go to screen that were distributed internationally, and produced & directed two films that played worldwide. Jesse won the World Celebrity Chess Championship in 1988 held at the Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Out of twenty-three contestants he was undefeated. Adam Baldwin placed second, and William Windom placed third. To this day he is the reigning champion. Jesse sometimes teaches acting in Portland, and has written a book called, The Film Actor's Handbook. His favorite things are canoeing, kayaking, salmon fishing, burning up the Columbia river in his speedboat, traveling, and riding the bullet trains in Europe.
