Jerry Yan (Liao Yang Zheng)
With an ordinary - and poor - background, Jerry and his sister were raised by a single mother. At a young age he had to work in menial jobs to help his mother with their day-to-day necessities. It was not until he won a modeling competition for UNO Magazine that things began to pick up for him. Appearing in various MVs, TV shows and print ads, his biggest break came when he was cast for the lead male role of "Dao Ming Si" in the wildly popular and successful TV series Meteor Garden (based on the Japanese anime/manga Hana Yori Dango).
