Jack Curtis was the son of agent Jack Curtis Sr., of Rose & Curtis, and Vaudeville star Mabel Ford. He was born and raised in Queens, New York. Jack did many voice-overs and cartoon voices. He did not do on camera work because he was born with a defect; his hand had been wrapped up in his mother's umbilical cord and never formed properly. He played the piano, however, quite well. He directed, shot and edited a film called The Flesh Eaters (1964) under a pseudonym. He wasn't union and didn't want to get in trouble. His main career was as an editor, though. He had a company called Film Sync and did a lot of dubbing. He left a 5 year old daughter, Liane, and a wife, Paulette Rubinstein.
