Songwriter ("Ole Buttermilk Sky", "That's Amore"), composer and author, he came to the US in 1916 and wrote special material for Bing Crosby, Fred Allen and Phil Harris. He also wrote material for the Armed Forces Radio Service's "Command Performance".
