They had a daughter, registered Hero Violette Hallatt, sometime between July and September 1912 in Newcastle.

He fought in World War One, initially enlisting in 5th City of London Rifles on 4th December 1915 and subsequently being transferred to the Royal Engineers in 1917 because of his proficiency as a horse driver. Read more...
