Elisa Perry was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her mother, Mildred Smith died when she was six years old to breast cancer. She lived in Asheville, North Carolina from age six to twelve with her aunt and grandfather. Her first exposure to the theater was a performance of The Nutcracker. After moving back to Philadelphia with her father, Charles Moore Sr. she received broader exposure to theater in Philadelphia and visits to New York. After seeing a performance of "For Colored Girls, Who Committed Suicide When The Raibow Wasn't Enuf" she knew that acting was her calling. Read more... and is a survivor of breast cancer.
