Noted professional actor and acting teacher who performed primarily on Broadway and television from the early 1940's to the late 1950's. Mr. Grove's roles included a part in Mae West's 'Catherine Was Great' and he played opposite John Garfield in 'Golden Boy' in summer stock. His network television shows included 'Dragnet' and 'Playhouse 90.' In the late 1980's, he wrote, produced and performed in a one-man show, 'Yiddish Tales', which he introduced at the Harold Churman Theater in New York. From 1985-1995, he lectured and conducted acting workshops at the Yale Drama School and the Julliard School of Drama and operated an acting school in New York. He also was a former vice president of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. Moved from Greenwich, Connecticut to Silver Spring, Maryland in May 1995. Died of Cancer.
