Songwriter ("Canadian Capers", "Sleep"), bandleader, arranger, pianist, composer and author, educated at Pennsylvania State College. He was pianist and arranger for the Art Hickman orchestra, and became its leader after Hickman's death. He played in hotels and ballrooms throughout the country. He joined ASCAP in 1924, and collaborated musically with Adam Geibel.
