Songwriter ("Silver Moon", "Deep In My Heart, Dear", "Mother"), author and actress, Dorothy Donnelly was educated in a convent and later became a member of the Henry Donnelly Stock Company. She created the role of Candida in the US, and also appeared in "Madame X". She wrote the Broadway stage scores for "Blossom Time", "The Student Prince in Heidelberg", "My Maryland" and "Poppy".
