Dianne Travis is an avid western rider and horsewoman. She first discovered her desire to be an actress, when she saw Jennifer Jones in The Song of Bernadette (1943). At that moment she realized that acting was her passion. Dianne moved to New York City as a teenager from Springfield, Ill. She trained at renowned Neighborhood Playhouse with Sanford Meisner and Martha Graham.
