Deborah Schoeneman was a Contributing Editor at New York magazine and a reporter for The New York Times Sunday Styles section before moving to Los Angeles to write for television. In 2006, Random House published her first novel, "4% Famous." In 2001, The New York Times Magazine's "On Language" column credited her with coining the verb "To Google" in an article she wrote for The New York Observer.
