Dale Peterson is an award-winning writer and director based in Southern California. After studying film at The American Film Institute, Peterson produced his first documentary film, "Bring Your Best," about homelessness in LA's Skid Row. This documentary received national attention. Since then, he has worked as director of photography, editor, producer and director of various features and documentaries. Dale's love of music lead him to produced and directed over 100 music videos for bands ranging from The Melvins to Alice in Chains. In 2009, his documentary "I'm Gonna Do It Until the Day I Die" won Best of Fest at the Arizona Film Festival and Best Short at the Charlotte and Detroit Film Festivals. In 2011, Peterson's short film "Hard to Come By" won seven awards at nine festivals, including Best Director at the Los Angeles ITN Film Festival. In 2015, Peterson completed his first feature, "Hello, My Name is Frank,". Still connected to the rock and indie music scene, all of Peterson's films feature up-and-coming indie musicians.
