Cora Sue Collins was born April 19, 1927, in Beckley, West Virginia. She was a beautiful child actress who was in very much demand during the '30s. Her first film, at the age of five, was The Strange Case of Clara Deane (1932). She appeared in small roles throughout the early part of the decade. One of her roles that stand out was as the illegitimate daughter of Colleen Moore in The Scarlet Letter (1934).
