Biography
Montebello, California, USA
Christopher has been involved in movie making since elementary school, when he wrote, acted, directed, and created the "special" effects for his first movie "King Kong Vs. Prometheus." Christopher continued this trend from junior high through high school, when he made home movies for various classes. His love of acting and theatre also began in the early 90's as a small boy.
In 2003, Christopher directed, edited, and scored his first "fan-film" entitled "Halloween: Evil's Reign. Read more... "in Pasadena. During this time, Gomez was studying cinema production at Chaffey Community College in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Between 2005 to 2011, Christopher had been working for the City of Beverly Hills, while simultaneously working at Universal Studios, Hollywood as a performer, background work in major motion pictures, and acting in regional theatre productions throughout the L.A. and Inland Empire areas. His position at the City of Bevery Hills was that of a video production assistant for the city's government municipal cable channel. It was at this job that he began an association with film director Richard Gale ("Horribly Slow Murderer with the Inefficient Weapon," "Pressure")and in 2006, collaborated with Gale for the, widely acclaimed, short horror film "Criticized."
During 2007, through the City of Beverly Hills, Gomez received a Los Angeles Emmy award for "Best Public Service Announcement." This project was also in collaboration with Gale, who directed the PSA, and others within the department. In the PSA, entitled "Do You Know CPR?", Gomez had helped with casting and P.A. work, as well as having a brief on screen appearance. Christopher shot "Our Lady of Paris" in 2008. A dark, and faithful, adaptation of the Victor Hugo novel "Notre-Dame de Paris." While various stills and clips exist online, the film has never officially been released.
Back in 2005, Christopher had mounted a one-man show where he re-enacted the entire film "Superman II: The Adventure Continues." The live 2 hour performance was a charity event to raise money, and donate the ticket sales to the American Red Cross for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Through the advice of actress Margot Kidder (who had played Lois Lane in the movie), Christopher once again mounted another, improved, production of the one-man show in 2010. This time performing in Orange County and raising money for the victims of the earthquake in Port-Au Prince, Haiti.
Christopher still resides in Southern California and continues to act sporadically both in front of the camera and on the professional stage.
