Her work, for which she has received more than a dozen journalism awards from California and Nevada, has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, New York Post, The Christian Science Monitor, George magazine, The Associated Press, Reuters, San Diego Union-Tribune, and Las Vegas Sun.
