Caroline was born in Richmond, Virginia. She came to the Washington Metropolitan area in 1968, so this is now "home". Caroline spent 25 years as a Federal employee. In 1994, she decided to pursue a life-long interest in acting and began to work in community theater. A couple credits in that regard are: The Judge in "Nuts", and The Preacter in "Gospel at Colonus". Caroline decided to attend college and get a degree in Theater. She graduated from Prince Georges Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Theater. Read more... series, "The Corner", and "Homicide: Life on the Streets, and more stage plays. Her breakthrough role was Bodie's grandmother in two episodes of "The Wire" in their first season. She played that role in episodes 4 and 6. With that portrayal, Caroline became eligible for Screen Actors Guild (S.A.G.), ofnow which she is a member.
