Born in Seoul, South Korea, Billy immigrated with his family to Buenos Aires, Argentina at the age of one. Three years later he and his family moved once again this time to Queens, New York where he has called home for over 30 years. Flushing New York held a vast array of experiences for Billy growing up from the mundane to the extraordinary, safe and warm to dark and dangerous. He encountered people from every walk of life in Queens and New York from the homeless and drug dealers to professors and the wealthy. It wasn't until 2003 that Billy found his passion in music. Dealing with the loss of his mother he found himself listening to the late Tupac Shakur's posthumous music and a spark occurred within him. He found himself freestyling over 2pac's tracks and "BC" was born. Living the life as a musician he searched for the ever elusive record deal performing regularly at open mics, bars and even schools throughout the tri-state area. While struggling to make a name for himself in music his manager arranged for an audition for a film which was shooting locally in Flushing. Needing the money for studio time Billy auditioned for the role and landed it acting alongside well known actor John Cho in "West 32nd". This event planted a seed and eventually pushed Billy far west to Hollywood, California which he now calls home.
