William "Bill" Minkin is an American comedian, actor, recording artist and FM radio pioneer. Although best known as the Host of "The King Biscuit Flower Hour" radio show from 1972-1992, Bill had early success as a comedian touring nationally with The Who. In 1967 Bill Minkin blazed onto the scene with two versions of the hit song, "Wild Thing". On side one, Minkin uses the alias, Senator Bobby, in his impression of Democratic US Senator Robert Kennedy singing "Wild Thing". The single reached #20 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
