After getting a degree from Middlesex University doing a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts he went on to the world famous Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art where under the tutelage of Hillary Wood he received a Diploma in Acting. It was in Cardiff when the English Shakespeare Company were to cast The Duke of York in Richard III with the War of the Roses tour that Ben's desire was ignited. Read more... he could to further his acting experience. A notable performance as a child was when in the 6th form in Bristol at the Cathedral School he took on the role of Nicholas Nickleby. During his A'levels a very busy time for a 17 year old the school under the very capable eye of his former acting teacher Mr Russell Matchum thought it a good idea to put on the unabridged version of the production. This 5 hour epic was to involve most of the school pupils many of which were to double up parts. Ben was in his element taking the audience on a journey with Nicholas Nickleby. Ben is happily married to Susannah and has a son (River) who he is very proud of. Ben was born in London hospital the third child in the Farrow family to his father a Professor of Medicine and his mother an American Academic. Always having the kitchen table filled with publications from one journal or other meant that conversation was always interesting and varied. At 6 months Ben had his first big break winning the fancy dress competition as The Champ on board the QE2 traveling from Southampton to New York. They settled for 3 years in North Carolina and then with Grand Parents yearning to spend more time with the kids they moved back to the UK. Through his fathers job they settled in Cardiff for Ben's earliest memories and then Bristol for his formative years.
