Apollon Yachnitsky was a Russian actor of theatre and film known for his portrayal of Tsar Pavel I in the biopic General Suvorov (1941).

He was born Apollon Vladimirovich Yachnitsky on May 9, 1906, in Kiev, Russian Empire (now Kiev, Ukraine). From 1923 to 1926 he studied acting at the Russian Drama Theatre in Kiev, graduating as actor, then joined the company as a member of the troupe. He moved to Moscow after the Second World War.
