Shabba-Doo was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He moved to the west coast (Los Angeles) in the early 70s. He's one of the forefathers of hip-hop dancing, "The Original Lockers" and was an Original Soul Train Gang member in the 70s and early 80s. The Lockers are famously known for pioneering "Locking". Shabba-Doo also starred in 80s classic movies "Breakin', and Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo, and the 1990 film Lambada. He's an award-winning musical theater choreographer, and director.
